Darkling I Listen |
Double major: history and theatre. 20. I knit. I read. I sew. I think. I become too invested in the lives of fictional characters. You know, the usual. Harry Potter, Bones, Doctor Who, Castle, Downton Abbey, Young Wizards, The Hunger Games, Tamora Pierce, Madeleine L'Engle, YA Lit in general, Jane Austen, period films, musicals. Other things I've forgotten. Glad you found your way here - hope you enjoy! :) |
a delicious little insight to Black Swan’s world - yet to see it and its killing me!
The ballet costumes were gor. geous. Killed me. Color scheme business maaaaaybe a bit too in-your-face? Like, Nina wears pink, I GET IT. But I feel like sometimes you have to make it in your face to make the audience go, “oh, I get it.” So it makes sense, yeah. And all of the different characters expressed beautifully through clothes style as well as color and all the gorgeous practice dancewear (I love me some practice dancewear) and I love the point about the black tights, when you do go so in-your-face with a color scheme and then break from it I do love the awesome BAM effect it gives and and and yeah. yeah. it was awesome and this is awesome and why is it not a full hour documentary is what I want to know.
